Practise Sundanese with native speakers who want to learn Avestan

Talkabout pairs people who help each other: they speak what you're learning and are learning what you speak. Free, in your browser, adults only.

About Sundanese for Avestan speakers

Sundanese is written in the Latin alphabet; Avestan uses the Avestan alphabet. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.

Sundanese is related to Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog, Chamorro.

How the exchange works

  1. Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Sundanese natively and are learning Avestan.
  2. Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Sundanese, some in Avestan, so you both get to practise.
  3. Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.

Safe by default

Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.

You can block or report anyone from the chat. Everyone agrees to the community guidelines, and moderators tell you which rule was broken when they act on a report.
