About Southern Sotho for Zulu speakers
Southern Sotho and Zulu are both written in the Latin alphabet, so you can start reading straight away.
Both are Bantu languages, so expect words and grammar that feel familiar.
Southern Sotho is related to Swahili, Herero, Kongo, Kikuyu.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Southern Sotho natively and are learning Zulu.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Southern Sotho, some in Zulu, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
Safe by default
Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.
