About Southern Sotho for Uyghur speakers
Southern Sotho is written in the Latin alphabet; Uyghur uses Arabic script. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.
Southern Sotho is related to Swahili, Herero, Kongo, Kikuyu.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Southern Sotho natively and are learning Uyghur.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Southern Sotho, some in Uyghur, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
