About Norwegian Bokmål for Belarusian speakers

Norwegian Bokmål is written in the Latin alphabet; Belarusian uses the Cyrillic alphabet. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.

Norwegian Bokmål is related to Afrikaans, Danish, German, Icelandic.

How the exchange works

  1. Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Norwegian Bokmål natively and are learning Belarusian.
  2. Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Norwegian Bokmål, some in Belarusian, so you both get to practise.
  3. Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.

Safe by default

Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.

You can block or report anyone from the chat. Everyone agrees to the community guidelines, and moderators tell you which rule was broken when they act on a report.
