About Kikuyu for Kyrgyz speakers
Kikuyu is written in the Latin alphabet; Kyrgyz uses the Cyrillic alphabet. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.
Kikuyu is related to Swahili, Herero, Kongo, Kuanyama.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Kikuyu natively and are learning Kyrgyz.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Kikuyu, some in Kyrgyz, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
Safe by default
