Kashmiri and Uyghur are both written in Arabic script, so you can start reading straight away.
Kashmiri is related to Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, Sinhala.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Kashmiri natively and are learning Uyghur.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Kashmiri, some in Uyghur, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
