About Inupiaq for Hebrew speakers
Inupiaq is written in the Latin alphabet; Hebrew uses the Hebrew alphabet. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.
Inupiaq is related to Inuktitut, Kalaallisut.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Inupiaq natively and are learning Hebrew.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Inupiaq, some in Hebrew, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
