About Dutch for Malay speakers
Dutch and Malay are both written in the Latin alphabet, so you can start reading straight away.
Dutch is related to Afrikaans, Danish, German, Icelandic.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Dutch natively and are learning Malay.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Dutch, some in Malay, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
Safe by default
Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.
You can block or report anyone from the chat. Everyone agrees to the community guidelines, and moderators tell you which rule was broken when they act on a report.
