About Church Slavic for Dzongkha speakers
Church Slavic is written in the Cyrillic alphabet; Dzongkha uses the Tibetan script. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.
Church Slavic is related to Bulgarian, Bosnian, Czech, Croatian.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Church Slavic natively and are learning Dzongkha.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Church Slavic, some in Dzongkha, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
Safe by default
Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.
You can block or report anyone from the chat. Everyone agrees to the community guidelines, and moderators tell you which rule was broken when they act on a report.
