About Afar for Bulgarian speakers
Afar is written in the Latin alphabet; Bulgarian uses the Cyrillic alphabet. Chatting in writing is a good way to get used to a new script, because you can take your time with every message.
Afar is related to Oromo, Somali.
How the exchange works
- Say what you speak and what you're learning. Talkabout shows you people who speak Afar natively and are learning Bulgarian.
- Write to someone. Take turns: some messages in Afar, some in Bulgarian, so you both get to practise.
- Fix each other's messages. Suggest a correction on any message and your partner sees exactly what changed. You choose how much you want corrected.
Safe by default
Talkabout is for adults only. Photos and contact details unlock only after you've both written to each other, nobody can flood your inbox, and favourites stay private unless you both choose each other.
